What
is the difference between a growth stock and a value stock? What
is ARX Capital’s management philosophy when it comes to selecting
stocks? How will that apply to my portfolio?
Growth
stocks are those of companies with excellent growth potential which,
for a given period of time, can be expected to experience faster
than average expansion.
Value
stocks are those stocks which trade at a low price compared to the
valuation of the company’s assets.
At ARX Capital, we use a mix of both to create balanced portfolios.
A portfolio should include growth stocks to allow the investor to
take advantage of a company’s economic expansion, and value
stocks to ensure a certain level of asset stability.
